APNS meeting on 31st
The annual General Council of the All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) will meet on Monday, March 31 at 10.30 a.m., said in a press release issued by the APNS on Thursday.
Muhammed Hussain Aslam Kazi, Secretary General APNS has announced that the council will discuss the conditions prevailing in the newspaper industry and will take decisions to address the problems faced by the member publications.
The General Council will be attended by members across the country and will finalise its recommendations on the issues pertaining to the unfinished agenda of the government – press relations, press laws and the future of the industry. The members will consider and adopt the report of the Executive Committee for the preceding year and elect its members.
The Secretary General, APNS has requested the publishers of full member publications to attend the Council meeting.
