APNS to discuss newspaper hawkers’ issues
LAHORE: A representative delegation of All Pakistan Akhbar Farosh Federation, led by Tikka Khan, met APNS Secretary General Syed Sarmad Ali, here on Friday.
The two sides discussed problems facing the newspaper hawkers across Pakistan. It was decided that a meeting would be held on July 2 in Karachi with APNS President Hameed Haroon in the chair and newspaper hawkers from across country would participate in it. Various decisions would be made on problems of the hawkers.
Those attended the meeting in Lahore were: Shaukat Ali, president, Rawalpindi Akhbar Farosh Union, Shafiq Satti, general secretary, Aqeel Abbasi, Gujrat union general secretary, Hafiz Siddique, Akhbar Farosh Union vice-president, Lahore, Syed Waris Ali Naqvi, Zulfiqar Lone, Muhammad Ilyas, former general secretary, Akhbar Farosh Union, Lahore, etc.
