APNS announces postponement of Regional Press Convention
KARACHI: The All Pakistan Newspapers Society has announced that the Regional Press Convention, scheduled to be held on April 09, 2011, has been postponed, stated a press releases.
The APNS has stated that the Convention was to be held with the prime minister of Pakistan, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, as chief guest. However the prime minister has to proceed abroad around the date of the convention.
The convention has therefore been postponed on the request of the prime minister’s House. The next date expectedly in the last week of April, 2011, will be announced shortly.
