Ansar Burney gets ‘Diamond Award’
LONDON: The British Federal Minister (UK’s Secretary of State) Rt. Hon. Cheryl Gillan, MP, on Saturday presented ‘International Human Rights Award’ to Ansar Burney on Her Majesty the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee reception in London.
The ‘Diamond Award’ was presented to Burney at London on his services in the field of human rights, anti-human trafficking, anti-slavery and peace related achievements.
Lords, member parliaments, mayors, deputy mayors and other dignitaries also attended the function. Ansar Burney also met with Air Marshal (retd) Ian McFayden, Royal Air Force, and discussed with him peace related issues in Asian region.
