Ali Noor releases A capella version of ‘Khayal Rakhna’

We learned via Ali Noor’s vlogs earlier that he would soon be delving into producing a song in A capella’ format.

The vlog showed Ali Noor brainstorming with Zoe and Rachel Viccaji, Sara Haider and Ahsan Pervaiz at producer Saad Hayat’s studio, also shedding light on his dream to create more original music through his new venture as opposed to simply doing covers.

But to start things off, Ali Noor and Strepsil Studios decided to cover Alamgir’s iconic song, ‘Khayal Rakhna’ in order to celebrate the upcoming Independence Day this year.

Featuring Ahsan Pervaiz, Zoe, Rachel and Sara, the song has been made purely with the help of vocals and no musical instruments have been used to make the music. The singers are all dressed in colourful, traditional garb, set against an equally colourful backdrop. The video is really pleasing to watch as the fresh burst of colours really add to the song.

Also, Ali Noor and his musical cohorts have done a pretty good job creating their first A capella song. And how cute do they all look? The song is currently available online and on Patari.
