Abduction of a journalist
I fully condemn the recent abduction and detention of a journalist working for a private news channel. This act is disgusting, shameful and beyond all norms of a civil society.
It seems that Pakistan is being ruled by intelligence agencies who can pick up anyone with impunity and without fear of accountability. I urge the Supreme court of Pakistan to take suo moto action against this illegal, unlawful and unjustified act.-FAISAL MALIK, via e-mail, September 20.
