Abduction and killing incidents condemned
QUETTA: The Baloch Human Rights Organisation (BHRO) staged a protest to condemn the incidents of abduction and killing of Aslam Dagarzai and Ramullah Baloch. The protesters, who gathered outside the Press Club here on Wednesday, were carrying placards and banners.
They were chanting slogans against the government and authorities concerned for not taking appropriate measures to ensure law and order in the city. Addressing on the occasion, the BHRO representatives alleged said that genocide of Baloch people was underway in the form of abduction and killing incidents throughout the province.
They said that the government functionaries were eliminating Baloch intellectuals, doctors, professors, journalists and advocates who are said to be the backbone of any nation. They accused that the state-run agencies of killing Aslam Dagarzai and Ramullah on November 28. The speakers regretted the UN silence over the alleged genocide of Baloch people which, they said, is a matter of grave concern. They appealed to the international organization to play its due role in this regard.
