50 percent raise in Nadra employees’ salaries

LAHORE: The Nadra Chairman has issued directives to raise the salary of its employees up to 50 percent to provide incentives to the employees to meet their rising cost of living.

According to Nadra spokesman, the directives were issued in the light of the annual budget in which the government has announced ad hoc allowance at 50 percent of basic salaries for all employees, stated in a statement issued from Nadra headquarter.

The decision to increase 50 percent salaries of the employees is taken solely to provide relief to Nadra employees. The Chairman Nadra issued a notification raising 50 percent of basic salary of employees across the board irrespective of their designation, he said.

The Chairman’s decision to increase the salaries is taken despite the current financial crisis, so that employees could be safeguarded against price hike and inflation and maximum relief could be given to employees. He said this pay increase would boost morale of Nadra employees. Nadra remains committed to the employees considering them an essential human capital and an important investment for the organisation. The pay increase would usher in a new culture of performance based credible service delivery on the part of Nadra which as an organisation is all set to modernise its services.
