3 modern cinemas
KARACHI: Three modern cinema houses would be constructed in Karachi to provide quality entertainment to its citizens, City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal said while talking to the media at the Arts Council of Pakistan.
He said that they would also try to revive the cinema houses that were closed or razed and that cultural activities in the city would be encouraged to boost the cinema-going culture.
Earlier, he addressed a reception hosted by the governing body of the Arts Council of Pakistan. He stressed developing more libraries, reading rooms and cultural centres. He also gave a two-million-rupee grant to the Arts Council Karachi for its office bearers.
