LAHORE: Twenty-three short films and documentaries were screened on the second day of the Vasaakh Film Festival at the FC College University on Tuesday.
The documentaries raised social issues, ranging from lives in the slums of Ravi to poverty and domestic violence. ‘Not to be loud’ was the first documentary screened on the second day of the film gala, followed by a short film ‘Hayulla’, which was the story of how people came to be victims of superstitions and destroyed their lives. The students from institutions of the provincial metropolis, including the NCA, PU, Kinnaird College and Fatima Jinnah College, screened their documentaries besides students from other institutions.
