Ban on 3-G internet service decried
LANDIKOTAL: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Fata general secretary Mufti Ejaz Shinwari has said suspending 3-G internet service in Khyber Agency is a violation of the constitutional rights of the people.
Talking to reporters on Sunday, he said the law and order situation in the Khyber Agency was much better than Karachi and Balochistan. He said it was deplorable that people, including students and businessmen had been deprived of access to information by banning the 3-G internet service.
The JUI-F office-bearer said the tribal people were connected with families and relatives living abroad through modern means of communication and the ban was creating problems for them.
