115th birthday of Fatima Jinnah celebrated
Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah gave a broad vision for the empowerment and welfare of women, Sindh Minister for Women Development, Tauqeer Fatima Bhutto, said Thursday.
She was speaking at a cake-cutting ceremony to mark the 115th birth anniversary of Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah. The event was held at the Women Development Centre. Fatima Jinnah was the torchbearer of women’s rights, Bhutto said, adding that the Women Development Department was playing its role to ensure the relaxation of
women’s rights. Crisis centres for women should be reactivated, she said.
